Cosa succede se acconsenti

Quando apri una pagina che contiene un video, il tuo browser si collega ai server di YouTube per caricare il lettore e il video. YouTube riceve il tuo indirizzo IP, i dati tecnici del browser e del dispositivo e l'indirizzo della pagina, e può impostare propri cookie e tecnologie simili, anche per finalità di profilazione e pubblicitarie. Se hai effettuato l'accesso a un account Google nello stesso browser, Google può collegare queste informazioni al tuo account.

Per la raccolta e la trasmissione di questi dati il Titolare (Social Things S.r.l.) e Google sono contitolari del trattamento; ogni trattamento successivo è svolto da Google come titolare autonomo, secondo la propria informativa (https://policies.google.com/privacy). I dati possono essere trasferiti negli Stati Uniti sulla base del Data Privacy Framework UE-USA e delle clausole contrattuali standard.

Cosa succede se non acconsenti

I video di YouTube non vengono caricati e nessun dato viene inviato a YouTube. Al loro posto compare un avviso con il link per gestire i consensi e, se preferisci, un link per aprire il video direttamente su YouTube. Tutto il resto della Piattaforma funziona normalmente. Molti corsi mettono a disposizione anche il testo dei video da scaricare.

Come cambiare idea

Puoi dare o revocare il consenso in qualsiasi momento dalla pagina del profilo "Politiche e accordi". La revoca vale per il futuro e non incide sulla liceità del trattamento svolto prima. Base giuridica: consenso (art. 6.1.a GDPR e art. 122 del Codice privacy).

Many courses on the Platform contain videos hosted on YouTube, a service of Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). This consent is optional: you can attend the courses without giving it.

What happens if you consent

When you open a page containing a video, your browser connects to YouTube's servers to load the player and the video. YouTube receives your IP address, technical data about your browser and device and the address of the page, and may set its own cookies and similar technologies, including for profiling and advertising purposes. If you are signed in to a Google account in the same browser, Google may link this information to your account.

For the collection and transmission of these data the Controller (Social Things S.r.l.) and Google are joint controllers; any further processing is carried out by Google as an independent controller under its own privacy policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy). Data may be transferred to the United States under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.

What happens if you do not consent

YouTube videos are not loaded and no data is sent to YouTube. A notice is shown instead, with a link to manage your consents and, if you prefer, a link to open the video directly on YouTube. The rest of the Platform works normally. Many courses also provide the video script for download.

How to change your mind

You can give or withdraw consent at any time from the "Policies and agreements" page of your profile. Withdrawal applies to the future and does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it. Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive).
